    PRESIDENT

    Valerie O'Brien

    Valerie joined JCI in 2017. She has held previous leadership positions and attended international JCI academies across Europe. In 2022, she was on the European & World winning debate team.

     

    Outside of JCI she is a Director for Digital Transformation in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. She is passionate about how digital can be used to accelerate sustainable manufacturing.

    DEPUTY PRESIDENT

    Pierre Yimbog

    Pierre joined JCI in 2022. He has attended National and European Debate Academies and supported JCI Conference Organising Committees.

     

    His background is in Law and Intellectual Property Law, and currently undertaking a Masters in Corporate Governance. He work in Engineers Ireland as Community Engagement Executive; supporting students, graduates and global engineers. Pierre has previous experience as Students’ Union President in DIT and TU Dublin.

    DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL

    Mikaela Silván

    Mikaela joined JCI in Finland in 2022. She attended regional and national meetings as well as the European Conference in Belgium. When she first joined, she was looking for a meaningful community where she could develop herself and succeed together, locally and internationally.

     

    Outside of JCI, Mikaela works in tech sales and enjoys rock climbing and traveling.

    DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

    Ben Hall

    Ben has been a JCI Dublin member since 2018 and has held numerous positions on the board including Director of Business and Secretary. He won the JCI World Debating Competition in 2019 and has been actively involved in training and running competitions. Outside of JCI, he enjoys running, cycling and travelling.

     

    In his professional life, he is a senior associate for a global leadership advisory firm.

    DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY

    Mícheál Gallagher

    Micheal has been a JCI member since 2021. In 2022 he stepped up his involvement traveling to conferences in Scotland (Debate Academy) and Belgium – and got involved in the JCI debating competitions winning European and World championships.

     

    In his day job he works in ESG Implementation Project Management at Diligent.

    IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

    Melissa Collins

    Melissa joined JCI Cork in 2015. She has held past leadership roles as Community Director, organising projects such as the World Cleanup Day. She recently competed at and won the JCI World Congress Debate. Melissa is also the JCI Ireland 2023 Director of Individual Development

     

    Melissa is a qualified solicitor working in OSM Partners LLP, a commercial services firm in the litigation department.

  • JCI DUBLIN PAST PRESIDENTS

    JCI Dublin is one of the oldest chapters of this global organization here in Ireland, having been founded in 1957 with J.S. Leeson as it’s first President. In the years that have passed since its foundation, JCI Dublin has provided opportunities to many thousands of young Irish business people, entrepreneurs and leaders.
